Mindfulness
What is Mindfulness:
Mindfulness is a type of meditation in which you focus on being intensely aware of what you're sensing and feeling in the moment, without interpretation or judgment. Practicing mindfulness involves breathing methods, guided imagery, and other practices to relax the body and mind and help reduce stress. Our school started our school wide mindfulness program this school year where each class participate in a mindfulness activity at the start of each day. Some classes use mindfulness throughout the day to help students stay focus and have a calm body and mind. We would like for our families to also use mindfulness practices at home. We will continue to post mindfulness activities on our websites for families to use at home.
